About Us

The Heatherwood Backyard Music Series all began when Cera's favorite folk band posted online that they wanted to start doing house party shows. Cera jumped on the idea and reached out to the band about how she was a super-fan and they should totally come and play in their backyard. This was in 2023. A few of us were hanging out and having a beer when she told us her "wild" idea. This was right after another "wild" idea started which was building a giant pond in their backyard... the pond hole had been dug at this point, but that's about it. She said "should we do this?" and we all responded "hell yeah!" That's all it took (well, that's how it started). A ton of community work came together along with Cera and Ash busting their butt's to put this all together. What a fun time!
